Diana Asamoah Loses Her Mother, Singer Prepares for Her One-Week Observance  

Ghanaian gospel singer Diana Asamoah has announced the demise of her mother, Mary Agyei Nnuro, aka Akosua Barima.

She shared the one-week observance poster for her mother on TikTok on Saturday, June 21, 2025. 

As per tradition, her one-week observation will be held on July 3 in Kwabre Kasaam in the Ashanti Region. 

In a video after announcing her mother's death, the singer explained that she would share the funeral details later. 

Diana Asamoah’s mother, Mary Agyei Nnuro, passed away at the age of 80 years, and this her sudden demise comes at a time when the singer is navigating her newfound career as a broadcaster as the host of Angel FM's Akoko Abon radio
