Medikal is not wack, in fact he is on the same level as American rappers Lil Baby and Central Cee - Shatta Wale
Dancehall icon Shatta Wale has endorsed Ghanaian rapper Medikal, claiming he ranks on the same level as global rap stars Lil Baby and Central Cee.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with US-based Ghanaian blogger Firestick, Shatta Wale praised Medikal's lyrical ability and adaptability, stating that his decision to tailor his music to suit local tastes is a strategic move for survival in the Ghanaian industry.
“The way we have Lil Baby and Central Cee, Medikal is also on their level,” Shatta Wale said.
"Just that we are in Ghana, that’s why he gives those lyrics for the Ghanaian market. If he doesn’t make his lyrics to suit the Ghanaian market, he won’t eat.”
