Legend, rest well - Bawumia mourns Daddy Lumba
Former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has paid tribute to highlife legend Daddy Lumba, who passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
In a Facebook post, Bawumia described him as a “true music icon” with an incredible career spanning over three decades.
“His brilliant compositions and works have not only entertained but also inspired and uplifted many of us,” he wrote.
“Samira and I extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, family, fans, and the whole country. LEGEND, REST WELL.”
