God didn’t tell me to leave my husband, I left on my own– Cee of Mentor fame opens up about failed marriage

Gospel singer Cynthia Appiah-Kubi, popularly known as Cee of *Mentor* fame, has broken her silence on her decision to walk away from her marriage to a pastor, revealing that her choice was based on personal struggles—not divine instruction.

In a candid revelation, the former Mentor star explained that while her former husband is well aware of the reasons behind the separation, she chose to leave because she could no longer endure the circumstances surrounding their union.

“I was married to a pastor, but I left because of certain issues and circumstances that I could not stand. He is aware of those issues,” Cee disclosed.

Addressing speculation that her decision may have been spiritually driven, she firmly dismissed such claims.

“God did not tell me to leave my husband; I left because I could no longer take certain things," she stated.
