Ghanaian football has been hit with controversy following the arrest of Inusah Ahmed, owner of PAC Academy FC, in connection with a massive $100 million fraud case.

Ahmed, also known locally as Pascal or Agony, was arrested on Friday, June 13, 2025, in a joint sting operation carried out by Interpol and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

He was apprehended alongside three other suspects — Isaac Kofi Oduro Boateng (widely known as Kofi Boat), Derrick Van Yeboah, and Patrick Kwame Asare.

Their arrests follow months of international investigations into a sophisticated cybercrime ring involving Business Email Compromise (BEC) and romance scams.

Sources indicate that extradition processes are already underway to transfer the suspects to the United States, where they are expected to face trial.
