You are not 'correct' - Vim Lady tears into Captain Smart over Obuasi clash

Broadcast journalist Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has taken a swipe at Captain Smart for his controversial style of journalism.

Speaking on her Gyaso Gyaso program on Okay FM, she questioned his credibility, accusing him of promoting sensationalism and unethical practices.

Her remarks stem from Captain Smart's earlier call for Obuasi youth to "claim their rightful possessions" from AngloGold Ashanti, which coincided with a violent confrontation at the mines, leading to the deaths of eight individuals.

Vim Lady criticized the media’s silence on his actions and argued that freedom of speech doesn’t permit reckless rhetoric.

She called for journalists to prioritize ethics over sensationalism, saying, “Journalism must build, not destroy.”
