Ibrahim Mahama donates GH¢50,000 to Suzzy Pinamang at her family home, days after sponsoring her eye surgery in the UK
After a life-changing medical trip to the United Kingdom, Suzzy Pinamang, a student of Adventist Senior High School, has received a generous GH¢50,000 donation from renowned businessman Ibrahim Mahama, founder of Engineers & Planners.
The donation was formally presented on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Suzzy’s family home in Kumasi by Ibrahim Mahama’s special aide, Rafik Mahama.
The amount, according to a member of Rafik’s delegation, is intended to support Suzzy’s upkeep and recovery following her return to Ghana.
This heartwarming gesture followed the safe arrival of Suzzy, her brother, and Rafik from the UK the previous evening—July 3, 2025—after she successfully underwent eye surgery.
The surgery became necessary after Suzzy was tragically shot in the face by a colleague, resulting in severe damage to her eye.
A member of Rafik’s team emphasized during the brief meeting that the support was not just financial but symbolic of their continued commitment to Suzzy’s well-being.
“We want Suzzy to feel safe and know that she has nothing to worry about now that she’s back home," the representative said.
